Dr. Charlotte Pulliam was born and raised in Oakland, CA, and has always had a passion for animals and learning. She decided at a young age that being a veterinarian would be the best way to culminate her love for all animals.

She obtained her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Tuskegee University after receiving her bachelor's degree in animal and veterinary sciences in 2009. She enjoyed Southern living. However, she decided to move back to the west coast to be closer to family and friends.

She has a 15-year-old blue Chihuahua named Blue and a 6-year-old merle Chihuahua called Ocean – who can both usually be found in her shadow. In her free time, she can generally be found interior decorating somewhere, cooking, enjoying the outdoors, or spending time with family (Blue and Ocean included) and friends.

She hopes to one day volunteer in veterinary care in developing countries.
